SEMketeer is a web-based SEO and editorial planning platform operated by Boreas Digital Media LLC (“SEMketeer,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect information when you visit our website, use our application, or connect third-party services such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics 4, Google Ads, or PageSpeed Insights.

By using SEMketeer, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information that you provide directly, information generated through your use of the platform, and information received from connected third-party services when you authorize those connections.

Account Information

When you create or use an SEMketeer account, we may collect:

• Name
• Email address
• Login credentials
• Account role and permissions
• Organization or client account information
• Language preference
• Activity related to account access, invitations, and password resets

SEO and Editorial Workspace Data

SEMketeer allows users to manage SEO and editorial work. Depending on how you use the platform, we may store:

• Client account names and website URLs
• Services, landing pages, keywords, and SEO target profiles
• SEO notes, diary entries, content ideas, and editorial calendar items
• Technical SEO audit results
• Page-level metadata, headings, image information, schema detection, and PageSpeed-related audit data
• Internal workflow information entered by users

Google Account and API Data

When you choose to connect a Google account, SEMketeer requests access only to the data needed to provide visible features inside the application. Depending on the integrations you connect, we may access and store data from:

Google Search Console

• Verified site properties available to the connected user
• Search performance data, including queries, pages, impressions, clicks, CTR, and average position
• Historical search performance metrics used for charts, reporting, and trend analysis

Google Analytics 4

• GA4 accounts and properties available to the connected user
• Reporting data such as traffic sources, organic traffic performance, sessions, user engagement metrics, and selected key events
• Historical analytics metrics used for dashboards and trend analysis

Google Ads

• Google Ads access is used to support keyword search volume workflows where available
• SEMketeer may use Google Ads API access to retrieve keyword planning or historical keyword metric data related to SEO target profiles and tracked keywords

Google PageSpeed Insights

• PageSpeed Insights is used to analyze public web pages and technical performance signals
• PageSpeed Insights does not require users to grant access to private Google account data

OAuth Tokens

When you authorize a Google integration, SEMketeer may store OAuth tokens, including refresh tokens, so the platform can continue updating data without requiring you to reconnect each time. Tokens are used only to access the Google APIs you have authorized.

2. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to provide, maintain, and improve SEMketeer’s user-facing features, including:

• Creating and managing user accounts
• Managing SEO accounts, services, landing pages, and keywords
• Displaying Google Search Console and Google Analytics 4 performance metrics
• Supporting keyword search volume workflows through Google Ads where available
• Running SEO Health audits and displaying technical SEO findings
• Organizing content ideas and editorial calendar workflows
• Displaying charts, dashboards, comparisons, and historical trends
• Maintaining security, access control, account permissions, and audit logs
• Sending account-related emails such as invitations and password reset messages
• Troubleshooting, debugging, and improving application reliability

We do not use Google user data for advertising, retargeting, personalized ads, credit decisions, or any unrelated purpose.

3. Google API Services User Data Policy and Limited Use

SEMketeer’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

This means that SEMketeer uses Google user data only to provide or improve user-facing features that are visible in the application. SEMketeer does not sell Google user data, does not transfer Google user data to advertising platforms or data brokers, and does not use Google user data for serving ads, retargeting, personalized advertising, or determining creditworthiness.

Human access to Google user data is limited. SEMketeer personnel may access user data only when necessary to provide support requested by the user, investigate security or technical issues, comply with legal obligations, or maintain and improve the application in ways consistent with this Privacy Policy.

4. How We Store and Protect Information

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect user information, including access controls, account permissions, server-level protections, and secure handling of OAuth credentials.

However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.

5. How We Share Information

We do not sell user data.

We may share information only in limited circumstances:

• With service providers that help us operate the application, such as hosting, email delivery, infrastructure, or security providers
• When necessary to provide user-facing SEMketeer features requested by the user
• When required by law, legal process, or government request
• To protect the rights, safety, and security of SEMketeer, our users, or others
• In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate user notice and applicable legal requirements

We do not share Google user data with third parties for advertising, retargeting, data brokerage, or unrelated commercial purposes.

6. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as needed to provide SEMketeer, maintain user accounts, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and preserve legitimate business records.

Google API data may be stored locally to support historical reporting, charts, comparisons, and SEO workflows. If a user disconnects a Google integration, SEMketeer will stop future access through that integration. Previously stored historical data may remain in the account unless deletion is requested or performed through available application controls.

7. Your Choices and Controls

You may:

• Update account information where available
• Disconnect Google Search Console, Google Analytics 4, or other integrations inside SEMketeer where supported
• Revoke SEMketeer’s access to your Google account through your Google Account permissions page
• Request deletion of your account or associated data by contacting us
• Request information about the personal data we maintain about you

8. Revoking Google Access

You can revoke SEMketeer’s access to your Google account at any time through your Google Account settings:

After access is revoked, SEMketeer will no longer be able to retrieve new data from the revoked Google integration. Some historical data previously stored in SEMketeer may remain unless you request deletion.

9. Cookies and Similar Technologies

SEMketeer may use cookies or similar technologies to support login sessions, language preferences, security, and application functionality.

We do not use cookies to sell personal information.

10. Children’s Privacy

SEMketeer is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us and we will take appropriate action.

11. International Users

SEMketeer may be operated from servers located in the United States or other jurisdictions. By using the platform, you understand that your information may be processed and stored in locations outside your state, province, or country.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date above. If changes materially affect how we use Google user data or personal information, we will provide appropriate notice and, where required, request renewed consent.
